Recently I've entered literally hundreds of competitions. So far I've won ... well, nothing, but hey, the prizes are there for the grabbing. Enough that I could easy spend 8 hours a day entering the things. Still, I'm confident I'll win something this month :)

Adsense can be a great source of income to. True, some folk are earning thousands a day - almost literally - while I'm plodding along barely covering, actually not even covering my hosting costs. Ho hum. It was ticking away nicely but for some reason today is dead. The traffic appears the same, but my CTR is 0. It's probably happened before, but I noticed it more today, I guess. Wierd. I suspect it will all come out in the in the wash, so to speak.

It has come to my attention... Actually I've known for years, but never bothered...

You can make mental money with domain names. A .co.uk is button, literally - 'as little as 9p' - about 20 cents. Yet they can sell for hundreds, thousands. Someone the other day turned down $35,000 cash for a parked name!

Anyway, I'm having a go. Blew a little money because I got stuffed on UK prices for a .tv domain, but now I know. They are literally half the price at GoDaddy.com

Well, you get the idea, but high figure are common. For populated forums, can be far, far higher. I suspect one of mine could be worth 6 figures if I populate it !!!

I've passed on this for year, sending free traffic to folk I think deserve it. Really I should have - still should really - include my relative affiliate id with the link for the appropriate commission.

With this in mind, here's a link to one certainly worth looking at. I haven't bought a copy myself (though I might sometime) but people who have bought it, including Lockergnome's Chris Pirelli, have and recommend it. I am a regular on one of Joel's forums and it seems like a good deal.

A lot go in for the pages of garish promises in even uglier clashes of highlighed text but I find it crass, myself. So, here's my sales pitch for the book. If you believe me and buy the book, I get 30% commision, which works for me :)

I'm looking at various ways of making money online. Primarily they will include competitions, paid surveys and affilates (most of which I really don't trust!) and advertising - like Google Adsense).

I have other sites that details the how and why of it. This is just for the proof of the pudding. I won't give away and secrets, but I will share news and views of any winnings here.
